Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI) is committed to provide the highest quality of educational services to the utmost satisfaction of the students and give them an opportunity to cultivate an integrated personality blended with spirituality and moral values. JVBI was established with the inspiration of Gurudev Tulsi. In 1991, Government of India notified JVBI as Deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of University Grants Commission Act, 1956. The Institute continues to be housed in the common campus of its parent organization body Jain Vishva Bharati. Gurudev Shri Tulsi remained its first constitutional Anushasta (moral and spiritual guidance) followed by Acharya Shri Mahaprajna as its second Anushasta. Acharya Mahashraman is its present Anushasta. The goal of the JVBI has been clearly spelt out in the Preamble of its Constitution (Memorandum and Articles of Association) which reads as under: “The Jain Vishva Bharati Institute is an endeavour in the direction of putting into practice, promote and propagate the high ideals of Anekant, Ahimsa, Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence for the weal of the mankind. "We, the members of the Jain Vishva Bharati, therefore resolve to constitute and establish the said University of Advanced Studies, Research & Training in Jainology in the context of comparative studies in Indology, World Religions, Ahimsa and World Peace."

JVBI University organizes PG and UG course per year in the month of March/April. Now the private and regular aspirant is going to participate in the exam, and the aspirants will not be able to take the exam before they fill up exam form. They are suggested to check the previous data of the University for the details of the start of exam form in November month.

They must not delay filling the application form and should be completing the application process by the end of the April 2019. JVBI 2019 Exam Form will be declared for all applicants taking the admission in various PG and UG courses. Jain Vishva Bharati University is a Deemed to be University by the UGC (University Grants Commission) under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. It was accorded the ‘Deemed University’ status in the year 1991.

JVBI provides more than 60 UG, PG, M.Phil., Certification and Diploma courses in Management Studies, Social Science/Humanities, Sciences, and Education in both Regular and Distance-Learning Mode.

• Students have to apply offline via the university.
• Admission to all the courses is done on the basis of marks secured in the highest level of education, written test and interview organized by the University.
• Those applying for undergraduate level and dual degree courses should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates apply for the PG level degree courses, students must be a graduate and have a bachelor’s degree.
