The University of Kota was established in the year 2003 in a culturally rich heritage city Kota situated on the bank of holy river Chambal. The University came into existence through the enactment of Government of Rajasthan vide order No. F.21 (2)Edu-4/2003 dated 29-0902003 under the provision of Section-4(1) AND 50(1) of the University of Kota, Kota Act, 2003.
Presently, 175 colleges of six districts of the State, namely, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Karauliand Sawai Madhopur are under the territorial jurisdiction of the University. The University has six faculties, namely, Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management, Law and Education. Various academic programmes are also being run at the campus and in the affiliated colleges of the University. Courses, namely, M.B.A., M.I.B., M.C.A., M.Sc. (Pure Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics-Energy, Wildlife Life and Life Sciences), M.S.W., M.A./M.Sc. (Geography and Military Science) M.A. (Sociology and Heritage, Museology and Management), M.Phil. (Commerce, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, Political Science, and Sociology), Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS, LL.M., M.P.Ed., Ph.D. Programmes (Accountancy & Business Statistics, Economic Administration and Financial Management, Business Administration/Management, Law, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Music, Urdu, Drawing and Painting, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Geography, History, Home Science, Education, Library and Information Science, etc.) are being run in the university campus.
The Aspirants, who are pursuing any Undergraduate or Postgraduate course from the University of Kota, are informed that the University of Kota has released the UOK Time Table 2019 for various courses. We know that a lot of Aspirants are pursuing in these courses and recently they are asking for the date sheet because they want to make their study schedule according to the time table. Students pursuing Undergraduate/ Postgraduate program from the University of Kota can download Semester Exam Hall Ticket as per their program in which student is pursuing. Access via online mode and get your University of Kota Admit Card as it is the mandatory document to carry in the examination hall.
The University of Kota has issued the exam Admit Card. Candidates can download their hall ticket from the official website. It is mandatory to download the Admit Card because no student will be allowed to appear in the exam without the valid admit card. The application process for the PG courses start in the month of June and Students are selected based on the marks obtained by them in the previous qualifying examination. The Students don’t need to sit for any entrance test.
For the Ph.D. courses, the application process generally starts around the month of January and the applicants who are eligible for the course are required to appear for an Entrance test in order to get admission to the doctoral courses.
Kota University offers a number of PG courses under various specialization in the field of arts, science, commerce, etc. All the postgraduate courses offered at the Kota University have a duration of two years except for the MCA course which is for a duration of three years.
The application process for the postgraduate courses at Kota University commences in June every year and the final merit list is declared by July. Students are shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained by the Students in the qualifying examination, except for the following courses:
Admission for M.B.A shall be as per CMAT guidelines. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. Students applying for CMAT need to register online
M.C.A admissions shall be as per Rajasthan Master in Computer Applications Admission Test (RMCAAT) guidelines. Students seeking admission to the MCA course at the University of Kota need to register online M.P.Ed. admissions shall be as per M.P.Ed. Centralized Admission Committee, Govt. of Rajasthan
